Hi, my name is Yewande Rolph from Natural Fragrance Company.
I am qualified, experienced and insured to conduct relaxing Hand Massage. As well as stress relieving Foot Massage.
Massage should improve feelings of well-being.
In my experience, layering products is a very useful technique to address very dry skin.
I have advised thousands of people with dry or sensitive skin.
Products should be applied immediately after a bath, shower or wash. While the skin is slightly damp.
Ideally use the three types of product layers on the skin consecutively.
Where possible, apply organic pure ingredients.
Layering can be done each night before finally going to sleep. It is common to use on very dry feet.
The best order of layering for maximum effectiveness:
Humectant-rich moisturiser:- First layer on the skin
Humectant molecular structure enables it to retain water.
Gently apply a humectant-rich moisturiser.
This helps hydrate and bind water to the skin.
Examples of humectant-rich moisturisers:
• Natural aloe vera gel.
• Honey based natural moisturisers.
• Vegetable glycerine based natural moisturisers.
Emollient:- Second layer on the skin
Add an emollient to soothe and soften the skin.
For instance, emollients include:
• Pure coconut oil.
• Pure moringa oil.
• Pure rice bran oil.
• Pure sunflower oil.
• Pure avocado oil.
Occlusive:- Third layer on the skin
Then seal it all in with an occlusive to prevent transdermal water loss.
Examples of occlusives include:
• Pure jojoba oil.
• Pure shea butter (take care with nut allergy).
• Pure cocoa butter.
• Pure organic sunflower oil & beeswax ointment.
Try using the above layering method every single day for three weeks.
Therefore, marked improvement to the condition of very dry skin!
Please note, if sensitive to an ingredient, always do a patch test first.
