This fragrant plant has spear-like leaves
that make striking spearmint tea.
It’s spearmint! – Mentha Spicata is the scientific
name.
When rub the spearmint leaves between my fingers,
I put my hand to my nose I find the familiar herbal
aroma of mint comforting.
I really enjoy drinking fresh mint tea in a clear glass
cup with matching lid. There is a vibrant green
colour in the cup. I leave the mint leaves in the cup
until I drink up all the satisfying infusion.
If I get the chance, I let business owners know how
much I like mint tea. Often ask for fresh mint tea
when I save up and eat at posh restaurants!
When I can visit a local Lebanese restaurant, I order
delicious tabbouleh which contains fresh mint.
In June 2013, I met a nice lady at a Craft Fair
where I had a table to display some natural items,
I had made. This kind lady commissioned me
to make spearmint room fragrance for her to
use in her house.
It was the first time I had ever made anything using
spearmint essential oil. I was delighted to be asked.
Actions of spearmint essential oil include:
antiseptic, decongestant & expectorant.
The spearmint room spray was made, packaged and
delivered. My customer was happy with what I made,
which gave me great satisfaction. She also told her
friend & I got another friendly new client who ordered
other natural items from myself.
My fondness of spearmint reminds me of the first time
I was asked to make a new room spray I had not
considered before. Since then, I regularly make over
25 different types of room fragrance scents!
