Pure Essential Oils of Cedarwood, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Tea Tree & Lavender “Inhaler”

The “Inhaler” I produce consists of the following five essential oils.

Brief explanation of the relevant properties of each follow:

Pure Essential Oil of Cedarwood (Cedrus Atlantica)

Natural Expectorant: Cedarwood essential oil can be used as an expectorant to help bring up mucus from the lungs. Cedarwood oil is either used in the form of vapor or applied on the skin of neck, chest and back. It is also added in many vaporizers and inhalers used for cold and coughs due to mucolytic action (dissolve or breakdown mucous).

Pure Essential Oil of Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus Globulus)

Can Help with Respiratory Problems: Eucalyptus essential oil is effective for treating several respiratory problems including cold, cough, runny nose, sore throat, asthma, nasal congestion, bronchitis and sinusitis. Eucalyptus oil is antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and expectorant in nature, which makes it a good ingredient in many medicines that treat respiratory problems. A study published in Laryngoscope in 2004 shows its usefulness in treating non-bacterial sinusitis. Patients suffering from non-bacterial sinusitis showed faster improvement when given medicine containing eucalyptus oil. Gargles of eucalyptus essential oil mixed with warm water are consistently effective in treating sore throats (do not swallow).

Pure Essential Oil of Frankincense (Boswellia Carteri)

Should Alleviate Respiratory Difficulties: It can eliminate phlegm deposited in the respiratory tracts and the lungs. Frankincense essential oil should also provide relief from bronchitis and congestion of nasal tract, larynx, pharynx, bronchi, and lungs. It’s antidepressant and anti-inflammatory properties also help relax the breathing passages, which can reduce the dangers of asthma attacks, and its antiseptic qualities are what give it the reputation of being an immune system booster! It can ease body pain, headaches and balance the rise in body temperature commonly associated with colds.

Pure Essential Oil of Tea Tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia)

Should Ease Respiratory Disorders: People who are suffering from coughs and colds, congestion, bronchitis, and other associated troubles, are sure to get relief using tea tree essential oil. It also provides relief from sinusitis. It can be rubbed on the chest and inhaled while sleeping, or a drop can be placed at the edge of the pillow so it can do its magical work at night. Consequently, you can wake up feeling much better in the morning.

Pure Essential Oil of Lavender (Lavendula Officinalis)

Can Ease Respiratory Disorder: Lavender essential oil is extensively used for various respiratory problems including throat infections, flu, cough, cold, asthma, sinus congestion, bronchitis, whooping cough, laryngitis, and tonsillitis. The lavender essential oil is either used in the form of vapor or applied diluted on the skin of neck, chest and back. It is also added in many vaporizers and inhalers used to ease flu, catarrh, and coughs.

Suggested use of “Inhaler”: Morning, afternoon and night apply about eight drops to hot water and inhale steam to help clear blocked nasal passage.
